Homeschool Resources

Here is a list of resources that I use and love. I have organized them into two lists: free or not free (but worth it). I will update this list often! You can find my own printables by clicking here.

Free!

Free Homeschool Curriculum Blog– I like to use the grammar workbook pages.

Storyline Online– These read-aloud videos by celebrities are a favorite of my kids.

The Crafty Classroom– I love the free printables you can find on this site. There is also a link in the next list to the premium curriculum you can purchase.

Johnnie’s Math Page– This is a page dedicated to free math games.

ABCya!– There are lots of free games if you are using a desktop PC. The tablet version costs money. I would say, if it is in your budget, these games would be worth buying a subscription.

Starfall Printable Downloads– Starfall offers many free reading and math printables at this link.

Not free (but worth it!)

Reading Eggs– My kids enjoy the reading and math lessons in this online program. The printable worksheets are also a nice addition and something you may enjoy adding to your day.

The Crafty Classroom– I have purchased reading and geography resources that we have enjoyed from this site.

Spelling You See– This is my family’s favorite spelling curriculum. They learn so much and it gives them time to practice good handwriting.

Learning Without Tears– I have used their handwriting workbooks and their typing program, love them both. This year we are also trying their writing workbooks. Update: We love Building Writers!

Masterbooks– We enjoy using Math Lessons For a Living Education. We are also using America’s Story and Elementary Anatomy this year. We introduced them at the end of last year so I don’t have a final opinion.
